Founder Matt Galligan shows Simple Geo's new iPhone app that overlays lots of location-based data on top of a map. SimpleGeo makes building location-based apps like these easier.

The main screen shows you the names of your area, the local weather forecast,intersections and coördinates. The Places data in my area are sometimes outdated, but the Wikipedia, Project Noah, Geonames and Flickr layers work fine. Fast and accurate. A useful app!

Het NAi heeft een mooi museum... maar soms vinden ze die vier muren een beetje benauwend. Eigenlijk vinden ze het niet meer van deze tijd dat je altijd naar ons toe moet komen om iets moois te zien.

Deze layar geeft een blik op dat wat er niet is: gebouwen, straten, pleinen die zijn verdwenen, nooit zijn aangelegd en die nog moeten verrijzen. Dat kan nu, met UAR: urban augmented reality op je smartphone.
